What led you to start creating your art/craft?

I come from a family of artists and crafters and have been creating ever since I can remember…I’m pretty sure I had no way around the crafting world.

How did you decide what medium you wanted to work with?

I have created with so many different mediums over the years, but because I have two children at home I have been focusing on creating fun and useful items for them.

What aspect of creating your art/craft do you find the most enjoyable?

Hmmm…that is a hard one, I honestly enjoy the entire process! From coming up with new ideas, to drawing them out on paper, creating them, letting my little ones test out their pieces, selling them, and even packing them up.

If you had to choose a fruit OR a vegetable, to describe your art/craft, what would you choose, and why?

Love this question!...I would have to say a strawberry. I think the things I create are sweet, unique and simple things that are savored.

If you had to choose one other medium in which to display your “creativity”, what would that be, and why?

I really love to create useful and fun furniture pieces from found objects, but haven’t really been able to branch out on that. Hopefully one day I will be able to expand on that.

What message, if any, do you want to convey with your art/craft?

I think mostly I want to create items that children will treasure for a lifetime. You know one of those things that you always want to have around no matter how old you are.

What advice do you have for other artists/crafters?

Perseverance is key…no matter what, you have to move forward and never give up.
