My name is Maartje, but you can call me Tizz.
I am a crafty girl from Holland with an apartment way too tiny to keep everything for myself, so I decided it was time to start selling.

What led you to start creating your art?

I didn't find enough jewelry and accessories in my style in the shops, so I decided to make some myself!

How did you decide what medium you wanted to work with?
When I started I just wanted to make jewelry, I found some nice charms, so I started out with that. After a while I wanted to make some different things, and I have just been trying things out, see what I liked using and making.

What aspect of creating your art do you find the most enjoyable?
I love seeing how something I have in mind actually turned out when it is finished.

What message, if any, do you want to convey with your art?
I don't really have a message...I just want the world to be cute and colourful!

What advice do you have for other artists?
Make something you love yourself! Not just something you love making, but also things you'd buy, that way you will always have a line of items that work well together.
